|Our Mentoring Program|
The Association of Jewish Attorneys’ Career Center is dedicated to providing attorneys in New Jersey with valuable resources combined into one central location for ease and convenience. Our various networking events allow new attorneys to connect with other experienced NJ lawyers who can answer basic questions on a wide variety of legal topics and areas of practice by telephone or through online correspondence. But, for a more official and sustained mentoring relationship and a reliable source of advice and support, AJA members can sign up for the Mentoring Program. The AJA mentoring program helps young attorneys connect with an experienced New Jersey attorney. Combined, these venues are designed to provide the advice or answers sought.
Mentor attorneys have agreed to make themselves available to new attorneys to provide advice and guidance – whether by phone, by email, through in-person meetings or shadowing opportunities – regarding the practice of law in New Jersey. The mentors have volunteered to serve as advisors for newly admitted attorneys to the best of their knowledge and ability but can in no way be held liable or accountable for advice and guidance given in this capacity.
This is available only to attorneys who have been practicing for 4 years or less.
You will be contacted if your practice area and location are a match for an attorney seeking a mentor.
