The Association of Jewish Attorneys (AJA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that is open to all. The NJ chapter of the AJA serves the interests of Jewish legal professionals in New Jersey by providing tangible benefits that assist lawyers in their day-to-day practice. The AJA is committed to furthering the interests of the Jewish legal community through education, networking and shared opportunities. The organization encourages the exchange of ideas and information among members and the Jewish community at large.
Our Primary Purpose
The AJA provides a community within which lawyers will find convenient and cost effective educational and professional development opportunities, an attorney referral service, a useful career center, and an easy way to communicate and share ideas with each other.
Professional development opportunities for AJA members
The AJA serves as an essential resource for the Jewish legal community by facilitating networking opportunities. The organization will provide seminars on a host of relevant topics, most of which will be approved for CLE credit with state accrediting agencies.
The AJA’s Career Center allows members to post and search job openings and resumes and serves as a resource for mentorship opportunities. Also, the AJA’s member-only online resources facilitate professional relationships by making it easy to maintain an online professional network and by providing groups and discussion forums to quickly connect to those within your practice area.
Refer to and receive referrals from individuals within the Jewish community
The AJA also manages an attorney referral service to match community members in need of legal assistance with lawyers possessing expertise in the relevant field. This is an opportunity to build one’s business while also helping the wider community.
The AJA’s member-only online directory and Social Link platform also make it easy for members to find attorneys in specific practice areas and locations and refer to one another.
